Residents are mad that these 30 to 50 year-old trees that once shaded the Tanjung Bungah market parking lot have been chopped down.

RESIDENTS of Tanjung Bungah are furious about the cutting down of five large trees that once shaded the parking lot of their market.

The trees, which they believed were 30 to 50 years old, were felled by a developer with permission from the Penang Island City Council (MBPP).
