NEWCOMER Muhammad Hilman Idham from PKR won the Gombak Setia state seat with a comfortable margin of 12,399 votes.

The 29-year-old special officer to Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, who garnered 24,157 votes, defeated Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Omardin (BN-Umno) and incumbent Hasbullah Mohd Ridzwan (PAS) who received 11,113 and 11,758 votes each.
