DBKL makes it easier to pay fines

NOW you don’t have to drive to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) counters to pay your summonses with the launch of the new DBKL Mobis app.

This is to make the process of paying compounds easier for people living and working in Kuala Lumpur, said mayor Tan Sri Mohd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz.

You can pay and check your traffic summons status via the DBKL Mobis app and locate DBKL payment counters which include maps and phone numbers.

People can lodge complaints using the Hotline tab in the app to make direct calls to a specific department within DBKL.

At the launch, guests were shown a step-by-step guide on how to download and use the mobile app.

Amin Nordin tested the app and was surprised to find that he had two outstanding summonses.

He urged the public to settle their summonses as DBKL is offering a discount until June.

Amin Nordin said the mobile app would be enhanced with more features soon, with services like paying assessments and business licences.

The mobile app is available for download for free from the App Store and Google Play.
