Hong Kong puts focus on sports tourism in November

Head to Hong Kong to experience the city's varied wellness 'fun'. — Go Park Sai Sha

Hong Kong hopes to draw in cycling fans and enthusiasts at the end of November with the return of a major event.

The city is set to transform into an exciting arena for cyclists from around the globe when the Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon returns to Victoria Harbour Nov 30.

If you are not joining the race, don’t worry as the Cyclothon Carnival at the West Kowloon Cultural District has lots of other activities for spectators.

There's padelling, fitness classes, penny-farthing bike rides, live music, a food fair and also a market selling knick-knacks and souvenirs.

For even more outdoor fun, visit the huge Go Park Sai Sha, Hong Kong’s newest sports and leisure attraction.

At Go Park Aqua, meanwhile, there's kayaking and snorkelling; visitors can even hop on a boat to Sham Chung, a peaceful Hakka village surrounded by nature.

Don’t miss the city’s new waterfront walks, too – the East Coast Boardwalk (in North Point) and the Kai Tak GreenWay (at Kai Tak Promenade).
