Qistinna Istajibilla “Bella” Dowanna Halim, better known as Bella Dowanna, begun appearing in commercials at the tender age of six and started acting at nine.

She went on to star in several television dramas as a teenager and most recently made her silver screen debut in M4M4, a horror film which came out in 2020.

The 19-year-old is also becoming a regular at fashion events, looking elegant in trousers paired with chic blazers and high heels, her luscious thick hair often styled in loose waves.

Look out for Bella in her upcoming show IMPerfect for Astro Gempak Originals which airs at the end of September, as well as Kami Budak Band for TV3 and a yet-to-be-revealed series for Astro Ceria.

How would you describe your signature look?

I’m a very simple person, I always go for looks that are simple yet elegant, and these days, streetwear has become my go-to style. To me anything goes as long as it’s presentable, and comfortable. And if I feel confident in it, I’m good to go.

What are your three must-have style/beauty items?

Lipstick, eyelash curler and blusher

Who is your style icon? or What’s your inspiration?

Scha Al-Yahya, Yaya Zahir, Nazreem Musa, Tym Fatimah. My inspiration is life. I’m always looking at my surroundings to find inspiration on how people style themselves. When I go to cafes and malls I check out people’ style.
