Mido introduces the Baconcelli Big Date Limited Edition, a stunning timepiece with a magnificent deep-blue sunray satin-finished dial.
At 6 o’clock, it showcases the Big Date signature: a wide polished and sandblasted date aperture that is one of the largest on the market in this price segment.
Its dial is protected by an elegant round polished-steel case enhanced by a double-gadrooned bezel, both of which feature a rose-gold-coloured PVD treatment.
Fitted with a blue crocodile-look strap in genuine cow leather, and is equipped with a cutting-edge automatic movement, and in addition to its original date display, the Caliber 80 with large date aperture offers formidable autonomy, with up to 80 hours of power reserve.
The wide two-level date aperture – one of the largest on the market in this price segment – instantly conveys the unique style of Big Date timepieces. The edge of the dial features polished applied Roman numerals featuring a rose-gold-coloured PVD treatment. The Big Seconds hand, meanwhile, is diamond-cut.
The Baroncelli Big Date Limited Edition is water-resistant up to a pressure of 3 bar (30 m/ 100 ft) expresses an elegance borne out of Italian architectural influences.
Its rounded shape was the inspiration behind Mido’s Baroncelli design - the subtle references to this prestigious building and its harmonious curves evoke a sense of elegance and a resolutely timeless style on this iconic collection, which marked its 40th anniversary in 2016.
Limited to 2020 pieces, the timepiece with a contemporary appeal is an exceptional collector’s item.
