Pasha De Cartier has been a cult design since its creation in 1985. It is an extroverted watch embracing an assertive graphic signature: a square in the circle of its dial. A cool new feature of the latest models is the quick strap release and bracelet sizing systems. These adjust the length of the bracelet (adding or removing links) without additional tools.
The 1858 Geosphere, with its two marvellously distinctive domed turning hemisphere globes and world time complication, is one of the key icons of Montblanc’s wide range of watches. This year, this well-loved design comes in Grade 5 titanium, combined with a snazzy blue colouring contrasted by icy white design details.
As a nautical sports watch, the IWC Portugieser Yacht Club combines timeless style with ruggedness and high water-resistance. The new models, with a robust 44-millimetre diameter, have a filigree bezel and flat casing ring that lend a particular elegance to the case proportions.
The Master Grande Tradition epitomises Jaeger-LeCoultre’s horological ingenuity and artistic creativity. This masterpiece incorporates two technically challenging complications in horology – a minute repeater (emitting sound) and a celestial vault (with a sky chart). The complex mechanism is further elevated by an orbital flying tourbillon.
The very popular Omega De Ville Tresor has been updated with the latest colours, as well as the brand’s unique new alloy. Named Moonshine Gold, the material features in the form of a case embossed using a silk-like pattern – complemented with mother of pearl and diamonds. The leather straps come in fantastic (and perhaps, lesser-used) shades such as rhodium and green.
