Beauty entrepreneur Huda Kattan, whose brands include the cosmetics label Huda Beauty and the skincare line Wishful, recently announced in an Instagram video that her company intends to give a cash boost to makeup artists struggling as a result of the ongoing public health crisis.

She also spoke about the precarious financial situations she experienced as a makeup artist and when she was establishing Huda Beauty back in 2016, and her desire to help makeup artists who are unable to work due to the widespread lockdowns occuring in countries all over the world in response to the crisis.
Huda Beauty offered US$1,000 (RM4,343) to 100 freelance makeup artists, and asked her Instagram followers to tag a freelance MUA who is finding these times tough and share why they have put them forward. -- AFP Relaxnews
