Rauschenberg (1925-2008), an American artist, is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential artists of the 20th century. His experimental practice helped shape post-war art movements, including pop art, conceptual art and installation art.

An enthusiastic traveller, Rauschenberg drew inspiration from different cultures and collaborated with artists around the world. He viewed art as a means of fostering mutual understanding and inspiring social change.

Teo-Simpson is known for sketching heritage buildings, street scenes and everyday life.
