The present mood of despondency has become consistent and contagious, in a raging ongoing pandemic. On an individual level, we have to find the strength to deal with the daily emotional challenges of existence. We have to intentionally explore for serendipity to weather the present storm in our hearts and minds.

I could feel butterflies in my stomach and my heart racing. Many of the books looked worn with bumped corners and some dog-eared pages. Over two score years, this treasure trove of books has meant many things to me.
