Recent research reveals that during the holiday season, a time traditionally associated with family gatherings and joy, loneliness is on the rise worldwide, reported across the United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia, the United States and other countries.

According to the OECD’s (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) "2025 Social Connections and Loneliness Report", up to 14% of people in member countries feel lonely most or all of the time.
