Food of the gods? New GMO potatoes, apples don’t bruise or brown


The US Food and Drug Administration states that a new kind of GMO potato and apple are 'as safe and nutritious as their conventional counterparts'.

FDA gives approval for the US market.

Potatoes that are genetically engineered to withstand bruising and produce less of a harmful chemical when fried, along with two kinds of browning-resistant apples were approved for the US market last week.
