Viknarubessh Nagaraja, 7

Did you know that cupcake refers to any small cake that’s about the size of a teacup? Cupcakes were originally called Number Cakes or 1234 Cakes because they were made of only four ingredients.

People love cupcakes because they are delicious and come in many different flavours like vanilla, chocolate and red velvet. These mini cakes come with delicious toppings including salted caramel, sprinkles, fruits and even gula Melaka.

Here’s what Starchild readers had to say on the topic, Cupcakes.
