Wedding bells are set to ring for Malaysian model-actress Lisa Ch'ng, who's preparing to tie the knot with Hong Kong actor Mat Yeung later this year.

According to Sing Tao Headline, the couple recently revealed that the ceremony will be held on Aug 2 at a five-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Pictures of their wedding invitation have since surfaced online, showing Ch'ng, 39, looking elegant in a red evening gown, while Yeung, 45, cut a dashing figure in a classic black suit.

Other photos also captured the happy couple posing alongside their beloved pet dog Haru.

It's understood that Ch'ng, who's based in Hong Kong, and Yeung went to great lengths to keep their upcoming nuptials under wraps.

Reports suggest that they took their wedding photos in April this year, with Haru joining them for the occasion.

But to avoid raising suspicion at the time, the session was simply presented to outsiders as a pet-themed fashion project.

Since going public with their romance in 2016, Ch'ng and Yeung have weathered their fair share of challenges together.

One of the toughest periods came in 2022, when Yeung was sentenced to 18 days in prison after losing his appeal in a careless driving case.

Throughout the ordeal, Ch'ng remained steadfast in her support, making regular visits to see the TVB star during his time behind bars.

According to Hong Kong news outlet The Standard, Yeung said earlier this year that he hoped to hold a grand wedding banquet rather than settle for a simple registration ceremony.

Meanwhile, Ch'ng previously shared that she would marry no one else but Yeung.

For the record, Ch'ng is the daughter of late Malaysian tycoon Datuk Bill Ch'ng Chong Poh.

Her older sister Jacquelin, 46, is also an actress based in Hong Kong.
