JAKARTA/KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Indonesian global pop sensation, singer and actress Agnez Mo has made history as the first celebrity from Indonesia to have a wax figure unveiled at Madame Tussauds in the United States.
According to a statement by Madame Tussauds Hollywood, the wax likeness of the multi-talented entertainer was officially unveiled in a black sequinned jumpsuit featured in her 2023 music video "Get Loose", a collaboration with American singer Ciara.
Reflecting on the achievement, Agnez Mo, who starred in Season 4 of Amazon Prime’s hit series Reacher, described the honour as a deeply meaningful representation of resilience and individuality.

"Being celebrated at Madame Tussauds Hollywood is an incredible honour, but what makes this moment truly meaningful is what it represents. A little girl who never quite fit in, who refused to let the world define her limits, and who turned being different into her greatest strength.
"To every little kid who’s ever felt too different, too strange, or simply misunderstood: you were never meant to fit into someone else’s mould. Stay raw. Stay authentic," she was quoted as saying in the statement issued on Oct 23.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood and Hollywood Rooftop Restaurant & Bar general manager Jesse Harbison welcomed the addition, noting that the milestone serves as an inspiration for emerging talents following in her footsteps.
According to Madame Tussauds, crafting each lifelike wax figure requires a dedicated team of about 20 skilled artists working for nearly a year.
The meticulous process involves analysing hundreds of reference photographs, precise clay sculpting, moulding and delicate hand-painting, right down to the individual placement of every single strand of hair to replicate the subject's exact likeness.
Visitors can now view Agnez Mo’s wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, situated along the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. -- BERNAMA
