Beyond his acting credentials, Hong Kong star Ray Lui is also widely admired for his remarkably youthful appearance at 69.

In a recent Instagram update, Lui revealed a trick he believes contributes to his ageless look – a squat variation he calls the "Lui-style horse stance".

In the Reel, the To Be Number One star broke down the hand and foot positioning for the exercise, emphasising that each movement should be performed slowly for maximum effect.

Lui began by advising fans to relax the feet, plant them firmly on the ground and sink into a seated position at the bottom of the squat.

"As you rise, imagine you're lifting a heavy rock in your arms and get up slowly while breathing in. Feel the weight through your upper arms as you come up gradually," he said.

He added that as you near the top, avoid fully straightening the legs.

"Keep the knees slightly bent, rotate your arms and imagine pushing the rock down with force as you slowly return to the squat position, ending once again in a seated stance."

Lui previously shared his homemade detox drink recipe, which he credits for helping him maintain his radiant look and good health.

The blend includes celery, bitter gourd, carrot and apple, topped with a splash of lemon juice.

He once highlighted onions as a key part of his anti-ageing routine, describing them as "smart vegetables" that promote gut health.
