Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun Fat, affectionately known as Fat Gor, has long been admired not only for his stellar acting skills but also for his down-to-earth personality.

The 70-year-old recently hosted a modest dinner for his former TVB colleagues, with nearly 100 guests in attendance.

Fellow actor Hong Yiming – known by his stage name Onebird – shared pictures from the evening and praised Chow for his thoughtfulness, writing: "Most of us have known each other for at least 35 years. It's rare to gather like this. Thanks to Fat Gor for hosting."

According to reports, Chow kept things simple and casual for the dinner, opting for a black sports jacket and a baseball cap.

He also posed for photos with guests and was lauded for maintaining a close friendship with his former colleagues despite his superstar status.

"Fat Gor's enduring loyalty and warmth once again show why he has earned the respect of both the entertainment industry and the public," one guest said.
