A selfie-friendly statue of two of the world's best-known stop-motion characters is set to be unveiled in the home town of the Englishman who created the characters.

Wallace and Gromit are to be depicted as they appeared in The Wrong Trousers and the life-sized pair will be seen next to a bronze bench in Preston, an English city north of Manchester.
