Festive menus to facilitate family reunions in Kuala Lumpur

Begin the Lunar New Year celebration with a toss to prosperity, featuring auspicious yee sang crafted from a recipe passed down through generations at The St Regis Kuala Lumpur.

The experience can be elevated with a choice of abalone and jelly­­fish, salmon and jellyfish, smoked duck breast and jellyfish, or vegetarian mixed nuts.

The yee sang is priced from RM218+ per set.

Chinese New Year reunions can be facilitated with the hotel’s Imperial Stallion Feast set menu, crafted by executive Chinese chef Cheong Boon Fei and his team.

It is priced between RM308nett and RM1,038nett per person.

A vegetarian menu is also available.

Making its debut this year is the hotel’s Auspicious Longevity six-course set menu – a festive offering created to mark the season of renewal and longevity.

The menu is rooted in traditional Chinese flavours yet thoughtfully reimagined with modern culinary techniques and subtle European influences.

It is priced at RM178nett and available for lunch and dinner.

The Brasserie is also serving an Auspicious Sunday Brunch on two Sundays during the Chinese New Year period, priced at RM328nett per adult and RM164nett for children aged six to 12.

This indulgent experience features luxurious offerings such as caviar, truffle and beverages complemented by a unique take on the traditional yee sang.

Chinese tea takes centre stage at The Drawing Room’s Afternoon Tea meal, with festive sweet and savoury creations that draw from auspicious Chinese New Year motifs.

Highlights include Steamed Prawn Terrine with Lotus Leaf, an artful Prosperity Bonsai and Botero Horse Cookie Painting.

It is priced at RM208nett per adult.

The hotel’s Chinese New Year menu is available until March 3.
