Warming hotpot dining experience among the clouds in Genting Highlands

Genting Secret Garden’s hotpot in the highlands.

Those craving warmth in Genting Highlands’ chilly mountain air can enjoy a simmering and sumptuous hotpot with rich broths and meats.

Soup bases such as collagen, tomato and spicy mala, with an assortment of premium meat like Australian beef sirloin and brisket or bountiful ocean harvests such as green mussels, sea prawns and scallops, promise a memorable hotpot dining experience at Genting Secret Garden.

The restaurant also boasts a greenhouse within its premises, where fresh, organically grown produce is harvested to fill diners’ vegetable baskets.

It is presently offering a promotion price of RM38 per person for chicken and goji berry broth with assorted meat balls, meat slices and sausages plus an option of rice, glass noodles, dried noodles or udon.

Also included is a platter of vegetables and mushrooms, comprising cabbage, pumpkin, lotus root, bok choy, shiitake, enoki and shimeji mushrooms as well as beancurd skins and white corn.

Meanwhile, the RM58 per person option features additional servings of meat balls, dumplings, sea prawn and toman fish slices.

More ingredients can be added on from RM5.

Over 12 types of sweet, savoury and spicy dipping sauces are available to complement the hotpot experience.

Diners can end their meal with desserts such as ice-cream, tong shui of the day, tropical mixed fruits or herbal jelly.

The hotpot set is non-halal.

Genting Secret Garden offers an aesthetically pleasing, serene setting, with glass windows for unobstructed views.

The restaurant is located at Level 2, Highlands Hotel, Resorts World Genting.

Its operating hours are from 5pm to 11pm Sundays to Thursdays and 5pm to 1am on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays.
