Ramadan buffet inspired by seasonal delicacies

THIS Ramadan, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur presents a sumptuous buffet and exclusive gift collections brimming with seasonal delights for you to show appreciation and strengthen bonds with family, friends and loved ones during the sacred month.

Treat your friends and loved ones to a buka puasa dining experience at Lemon Garden, with the lavish Sajian Istimewa buffet spread inspired by Malaysian delicacies.

The team of culinary experts led by chef Mohamad Safe Adin, has curated an array of dishes.

They have carefully selected the finest ingredients and spices.

The buffet features a wide range of traditional Malay, Middle Eastern and international dishes, including appetisers, mains and desserts.

The Sajian Istimewa buffet is also the perfect opportunity to sample a variety of international dishes from around the world, such as Japanese sushi and sashimi, Italian pasta and pizza, and Indian tandoori.

At the seafood station, diners can indulge in a variety of fresh items including prawns, mussels and crabs.

Meanwhile, staple Malay dishes such as Daging Rendang Minang, Satay, Udang Masak Petai, Ekor Masak Assam Pedas, Gulai Tulang Rawan, Kambing Panggang Berempah and Gulai Ikan Sembilang represent the flavours of Malaysia.

The buffet presents a heritage theme by featuring outdoor stalls set up at the Garden Terrace.

Live stations showcase varieties of traditional dishes that add a festive element to the dining experience.

The open warung provides an interactive element to the meal, allowing guests to interact with the chefs and ask about the dishes being prepared.

Some of the popular dishes offered include Bubur Lambuk, Sup Kambing, Lemang Pulut, Ketupat Palas, Fried Cempedak and Pengat Durian.

Customers can enjoy Shish Tawouk, Iranian Kubbeideh, Lamb Shawarma, Barbecue Honey Chicken Wings, Grilled Spicy Tiger Prawns and Grilled US Oysters with garlic, onion and coriander at the Warung Bakar-Bakar.

The Sajian Istimewa buffet is available until April 23, from 7pm to 10pm.

It is priced at RM250 nett per person (Monday to Thursday) and RM290 nett per person (Friday to Sunday and public holidays).
