Family keeps the local treats coming

Ah Seng Malaysia Fried Kuih stall in Taman Midah, Cheras, has been operating at the same site for the past 30 years.

FOR the past 30 years, the Haw family has been waking up at 5am each day to painstakingly knead, roll, fry and prepare the many traditional Chinese snacks that they sell at their stall.

Their stall — Ah Seng Malaysia Fried Kuih in Taman Midah, Cheras — is a constant hive of activity as each piece of the fried snacks is hand-made fresh every day.
