VSTECS posts improved net profit in 2Q


The company posted quarterly revenue of RM1.08bil, surpassing the RM1bil mark for the third consecutive quarter.

PETALING JAYA: Vstecs Bhd has reported a net profit of RM30.3mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (2Q26), up 50% year-on-year, driven by strong performance across all business segments.

In a statement, the information and communications technology or ICT distributor said it maintained its strong momentum in 2Q26 by delivering RM1.08bil in quarterly revenue, surpassing the RM1bil mark for the third consecutive quarter.

“The performance reflects sustained demand across its enterprise, consumer and services businesses,” it said.

For the six-month period ended June 30, 2026 (1H26), the group recorded revenue of RM2.13bil, representing a 41% increase from the corresponding period last year, while net profit correspondingly rose 40% year-on-year to RM53.2mil.

“Again, all business segments achieved double- digit growth in 1H26,” the company added.
