EITA secures LRT project worth RM62mil

PETALING JAYA: EITA Resources Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd in relation to the proposed upgrading of existing lifts and escalators at light rail transit or LRT stations from Gombak to Kelana Jaya (including Subang Depot of Kelana Jaya Line), worth RM62.3mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, EITA Resources said the award is expected to be completed within 48 months from the date of commencement or the issuance of the notice to proceed.

“The board envisages that the award is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings of the group for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2026.

“The company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the operational risk associated with the award,” the firm said.
