PETALING JAYA: Southern Score Builders Bhd
(SSBB) has accepted a letter of award (LoA) from a local construction company to undertake sub-contract works for a data centre project located at Puncak Alam, Selangor, worth RM105mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SSBB said the commencement date of the project shall be on July 21, 2026 and the expected final completion date shall be on Oct 14, 2027.
SSBB said the contract was secured via its 51%-owned subsidiary, SJEE Engi-neering Sdn Bhd.
“The acceptance of the LoA by SJEE to undertake the project will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company and there will not be any immediate effect on the net assets per share and gearing of the company.
“However, the project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of the company and its group of companies for the financial year ending July 30, 2027, onwards until the completion of the project,” it said.
