Sasbadi third-quarter results decline

The company's third-quarter net profit came in at RM358,000 on revenue of RM21.51mil.

PETALING JAYA: Sasbadi Holdings Bhd has reported a net profit of RM358,000 for its third quarter ended May 31, 2026 (3Q26), down from RM961,000 a year ago.

The group said the decrease in profit was mainly due to lower other income and revenue recorded during the quarter.

Revenue for 3Q26 stood at RM21.22mil, a 1.37% decrease from RM21.51mil in the preceding year, which was largely attributed to lower revenue from its print publishing division.

In the first nine months of financial year 2026, the group recorded a net profit of RM11.11mil, a decline from RM14.95mil the year before, while year-to-date revenue fell to RM90.2mil from RM97.3mil a year ago.

The group nevertheless said it maintains an optimistic outlook for the remainder of financial year 2026 and beyond, driven by secured revenue streams and high-value tender opportunities on the horizon.
