Steel Hawk secures three-year logistics management contract from PetGas

PETALING JAYA: Steel Hawk Bhd, an engineering support services provider principally involved in the provision of onshore and offshore support services for the oil and gas industry, has secured a logistics management services contract from Petronas Gas Bhd (PGB) for Package A – Northern Package through its wholly owned subsidiary, Steel Hawk Engineering Sdn Bhd (SHESB).

In a statement, Steel Hawk said SHESB will provide logistics support services to PGB on a call-out basis to support its ongoing operations as and when required.

The contract will run for a period of three years, from April 10, 2026 to April 9, 2029.

“The works shall include but are not limited to planning, scheduling, supervision, reporting, monitoring and control of all aspects of mob-demob, construction/installation, inspection, replacements, as well as advisory support on overall logistic management matters such as design, upgrading, equipment selection, performance analysis and improvement of works.

“While the contract does not carry a fixed value due to its call-out nature, it is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings over the duration of the contract. The long-term engagement also strengthens Steel Hawk’s portfolio of recurring income contracts, providing greater earnings visibility moving forward.”
