CBH Engineering bags RM30mil data centre job


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has accepted a work order from Company A for the design, supply, installation and commissioning works of a consumer substation (Phase 1) at a 275 kilovolts data centre in Johor, worth RM29.69mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the electrical engineering service provider said the contract period shall be effective from April 27, 2026, until the estimated practical completion date of Sept 30, 2026.

“The scope of works includes, inter alia, high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical works, installation of substation equipment and systems, cabling and associated infrastructure, earthing and lightning protection systems, as well as integration with Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s metering and information and communication technology systems, together with all related ancillary and preliminary works necessary for the completion of the project.”

CBH Engineering said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company throughout the duration of the contract.
