Axteria appoints Zaini Jass as chairman

PETALING JAYA: Axteria Group Bhd has appointed Datuk Seri Zaini Jass as its chairman.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property development and construction firm said Zaini (63), is currently a director with Globetronics Technology Bhd and started his career in the Royal Malaysia Police since 1984. He remained in public service from 1985 until his retirement in 2023.

Separately, Axteria said its directors Kevin Low Ee Ming and Yap Yung Chien had resigned due to personal commitments.

The company further announced that it had appointed Dr Dang Nguk Ling and Wong Liang Huat as directors.

“Dang has over a decade of experience in environmental and laboratory science, scientific research, regulatory affairs, and corporate strategy. She currently sits on the board of APB Resources Bhd.

“Wong has over 20 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry, specialising in commercial operations, international trade and business development. He was appointed as an independent non-executive director of APB Resources on Dec 19, 2025.”
