Hextar Capital secures RM155.3mil Melaka hospital project

PETALING JAYA: Hextar Capital Bhd’s (HCB) subsidiary, Legacy Core Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a contract for the construction of a hospital in Melaka worth RM155.3mil.

HCB said Legacy Core shall carry out piling, foundation works, demolition, building, infrastructure and related construction work for the project.

“The project is scheduled to commence on April 30, 2026 and is expected to be completed by Aug 30, 2028.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 and throughout the duration of the project.”

HCB managing director Johnson Chang said that the award marks another significant milestone and reflects the company’s continued dedication to delivering quality construction services and strengthening our presence in the industry.

“The group, via Legacy Core, is highly focused on building its order book, pursuing strategic opportunities to enhance long-term value for its stakeholders,” he said.
