Dialog begins expansion works on Phase 3 of Pengerang Deepwater Terminals

PETALING JAYA: Dialog Group Bhd has commenced construction on the Phase 3 expansion of its Pengerang Deepwater Terminals (PDT) in Johor, following the fulfillment of conditions linked to a long-term service agreement signed with BP Singapore Pte Ltd last November.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Dialog said the expansion is expected to be completed in mid of 2028.  “The expansion is to add an additional 614,000 cubic metres of tank capacity for refined petroleum products and biofuels with BP Singapore Pte Ltd as the dedicated long-term customer,” it said.

The company added that the expansion of the Phase 3 PDT is in line with its progressive development plans for Phase 3 PDT and its strategy to continue increasing long term recurring income for the group.  “Phase 3 PDT will unlock further opportunities for Dialog's engineering, construction, fabrication, and plant maintenance divisions to deliver integrated services and solutions,” it said.
