Infomina appointed Broadcom software aggregator for 13 Asia-Pacific markets

PETALING JAYA: Infomina Bhd has been appointed to be an aggregator to distribute and support Broadcom's Agile Operations Division (AOD) software portfolio across 13 Asia Pacific markets.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Infomina said the group has been appointed by VMware International Unlimited Company, a Broadcom company, and that the appointment is for five years, from Nov 1, 2026 to Nov 2, 2031.

Infomina said the appointment is expected to broaden the group's enterprise software offerings and regional market coverage.

Infomina said the appointment adds Broadcom's AOD portfolio to the Broadcom Mainframe Software Division (MSD) offerings currently distributed by the group.

The company said MSD software supports the management and modernisation of mission-critical mainframe systems, including applications, databases and workloads. It noted that AOD complements these capabilities with enterprise automation, network operations (NetOps) and value stream management (ValueOps) solutions, which help organisations automate IT processes across different technology environments, monitor network performance and better align technology planning with business priorities.

Infomina added the expanded portfolio enables Infomina to broaden its distribution and support capabilities beyond core mainframe software to wider enterprise IT operations.

According to Infomina, this also complements its existing technical expertise, enabling the group to address customers' requirements across mainframe, distributed and cloud environments, from managing core systems to improving the coordination and efficiency of technology operations.

Infomina's distribution rights under this new AOD appointment cover Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Sri Lanka and India.

Infomina closed the session unchanged yesterday at RM1.81 per share.
