PETALING JAYA: Boustead Holdings Bhd (BHB), via its group human capital management division, is strengthening the group’s leadership pipeline and organisational capabilities through a strategic collaboration with PT MarkPlus Indonesia (MCorp), which manages the Kotler Marketing Institute in collaboration with Kotler Marketing Group China.
MCorp provides corporate education, market research, consulting, media and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) services across Asia.
In a statement, BHB said the partnership marks a significant milestone in BHB’s transformation journey, paving the way for the establishment of Boustead Academy to accelerate the group’s evolution into a high-performance organisation.
“Through enhanced leadership capabilities, a performance-driven culture and strategic organisational transformation, Boustead Academy will help position BHB as a preferred player in Malaysia’s defence industry, in alignment with the strategic objectives of the Defence Industry Policy of Malaysia.
“These efforts focus on strengthening local talent capabilities, advancing high-value manufacturing and technological innovation, unlocking new business opportunities, and forging strategic public-private partnerships to accelerate industry development and create sustainable long-term value.”
BHB chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal said the partnership is anchored in the aspiration to “Make Boustead Great Again”, underscoring the group’s commitment to revitalising its organisational culture, unlocking people's potential and driving sustainable, long-term value creation.
“Ultimately, this strategic direction qualifies Boustead Group to fulfil the Government’s defence requirements, nurture local talent, strengthen domestic industrial capabilities and build a more resilient, self-reliant Malaysian defence industry ecosystem,” he said at the memorandum of collaboration signing ceremony between BHB and MCorp, which was held today.
