EP Manufacturing unit acquires industrial land in Alor Gajah for RM35.12mil

KUALA LUMPUR: EP Manufacturing Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary EP Moulds & Dies (M) Sdn Bhd is acquiring six tracts of freehold industrial land measuring a combined 75,873sqm in Pegoh in Alor Gajah, Melaka, for RM35.12mil cash.

It said in stock exchange filing the proposed acquisition is part of the group's long-term strategy to expand its vehicle assembly and component manufacturing operations.

"By establishing a centralised stockyard for finished vehicles and additional warehousing for local content parts, the group is better positioned to meet the escalating volume requirements of our OEM partners while optimising logistical efficiency," it said.

The proposed land acquisition is expected to be completed within nine months of the date of the sales and purchase agreement dated March 19, 2026.
