PIE Industrial appoints Che Kian Yeap as MD


PETALING JAYA: PIE Industrial Bhd has appointed Che Kian Yeap as its managing director.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the moulds and dies fabricator said Che, 50, will succeed Datuk Mui Chung Meng (74), who has retired.

PIE Industrial said Che has more than 25 years of industry experience across healthcare software and electronics sectors.

The company added that Che has managed key clients including three of Taiwan's top five electronics groups.

Che has also established high-value partnerships with gross margins reaching up to 90% and participated in global deployment of healthcare software solutions across the United States, Japan, China and Thailand.

Separately, PIE Industrial also announced that its director Lan Kuo-Yi has resigned to pursue personal interests.
