Radium diversifies into healthcare


PETALING JAYA: Radium Development Bhd is diversifying from property development and venturing into the healthcare business.

On Sept 9, 2024, Radium Hospital Ayer Keroh Sdn Bhd, a 90%-owned subsidiary of Radium Healthcare Sdn Bhd signed a sale and purchase agreement with Winbond Properties Sdn Bhd to acquire a 2.88-ha (7.11-acre) leasehold land in Mukim Bukit Katil, Melaka Tengah, for RM25.5mil.

The group reported a net profit of RM1.73mil in its fourth quarter of financial year 2025 (4Q25), a 74.6% year-on-year (y-o-y) decrease compared to 4Q24.

Radium registered revenue of RM71.6mil for 4Q25, an increase of 59% from its last reporting quarter driven by on-going projects, such as the Suite Canselor, Residensi Desa Timur and Radium Arena projects.

For financial year 2025, the group’s net profit surged seven-fold y-o-y to RM98.6mil, boosted by a one-off RM123.7mil gain from a land settlement, while turnover rose 30.4% to RM199.2mil.
