KUALA LUMPUR: KJTS Group Bhd, via its specialised indirect subsidiary Green AI Sdn Bhd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shenzhen Envicool Technology Co Ltd (Envicool), a global leader in advanced cooling technologies.
In a statement, KJTS said the MoU paves the way for a strategic collaboration to pursue data centre infrastructure projects across Asean, focusing on innovative and energy-efficient cooling solutions.
Envicool, headquartered in Shenzhen, China and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, is a globally recognised leader in precise temperature control solutions.
Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate to jointly deliver cooling infrastructure solutions under BOT/ROT structures. Green AI will act as the project leader and asset owner, while Envicool will supply its cutting-edge cooling technologies, system design guidance, technical support and training.
Together, the parties aim to introduce performance-based models that guarantee energy efficiency and savings for clients, measured in United States dollars per ton of refrigeration per hour (USD/RTh).
“This collaboration with Envicool represents a major step forward in KJTS’s and its subsidiaries’ regional strategy to deliver intelligent, low-carbon cooling solutions that meet the growing demands of the data centre industry.
“By leveraging our project delivery capabilities and Envicool’s global presence and track record as the leading data centre cooling provider in China to enhance the market positioning of the partnership, we are confident in our ability to create long-term value for clients while contributing to broader environmental goals,” KJTS said.
