Rohas wins RM42mil TNB deal


PETALING JAYA: Rohas Tecnic Bhd has bagged another fibre optic supply and services contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), worth RM42.44mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Rohas said the contract was awarded to its 86.8%-owned unit, HG Power Transmission Sdn Bhd (HGPT).

“The award which was originally dated Aug 27, 2025 has now been formally formalised and brought into full effect between the parties following mutual execution of a letter of addendum dated June 5, 2026, which has been received by HGPT on even date.

“The contract period shall be 1,095 days,” it said.

On Monday, Rohas announced that HGPT had contract worth RM50.35mil to provide fibre optic supply and services on TNB’s high voltage infrastructure (project and operations) for the information, communication and telecommunications division – Mainhead A (South Johor and Mainhead B2 (North Johor).
