Mayu Global ED detained by Bukit Aman


PETALING JAYA: Mayu Global Group Bhd’s executive director, Tan Kim Hee, has been detained by Bukit Aman Police to assist in an ongoing investigation.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the Penang-based manufacturer said Kim Hee was detained on Wednesday.

“At this stage, Mayu Global has not been informed whether the investigation is related to the company or any of its subsidiaries and the nature of the investigation remains unknown,” it said.

Based on current assessment, the company said the investigation is not expected to have a material financial or operational impact on the group.

Mayu Global closed unchanged at 19.5 sen yesterday.
