Destini returns to the black in second quarter

PETALING JAYA: Destini Bhd continues to bank on its strong order book in sustaining its profitability for its financial year ending June 30, 2025 (FY25).

For the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2024 of FY25 (2Q25), the integrated engineering solutions provider posted a net profit of RM6mil from a net loss of RM3.9mil previously.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Destini noted the profit achieved in the quarter under review was due to higher revenue and cost-cutting measures undertaken by the group.

In 2Q25, Destini’s revenue rose by 196% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM83.6mil, mainly due to the delivery of trains and equipment by mobility and aviation sectors.
