Datasonic wins RM6.37mil contract for FLC system maintenance


KUALA LUMPUR: Datasonic Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Datasonic Technologies Sdn Bhd (DTSB) has secured a RM6.37mil contract from the Home Ministry (KDN).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Datasonic said the contract covers comprehensive maintenance services for the equipment, software, and application of the Facial Live Capture (FLC) System at all Immigration Department offices.

The contract is for 36 months commencing from Feb 25, 2025 to Feb 24, 2028.

Under the letter of award, DTSB must provide a performance bond of RM106,200.58 to KDN, valid from Feb 25, 2025, to Feb 24, 2029.

Datasonic expects the contract to positively contribute to its future earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 and for the subsequent financial years throughout the duration of the contract.
