CBH Engineering secures RM88.05mil data centre contract in Selangor


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd wholly owned subsidiary CBH Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured an RM88.05mil contract to design and build a 275 kilovolt (kV) consumer landing station for a data centre (DC) in Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract was awarded by an undisclosed customer due to a non-disclosure agreement.

However, CBH Engineering said the client is a Malaysia-incorporated private company principally involved in providing infrastructure for hosting, data processing services and related activities.

“The scope of works covers the detailed design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the 275kV consumer landing station, Malaysia,” it noted.

The contract, which commenced on Aug 13, 2026, is scheduled for completion by May 12, 2027.

The contract value includes taxes, insurance coverage and the Construction Industry Development Board levy.

CBH Engineering closed four sen, or 4.4%, higher at 95 sen a share.
