September vehicle sales dip to 58,032 units

MAA expects sales in October to be higher than the September level.

PETALING JAYA: New vehicle sales slid 20% to 58,032 units in September 2024 from 72,367 units in August, according to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA).

MAA said in September, 52,922 unit passenger vehicles were sold, down 14% from the 61,548 units sold in September 2023, while sales of commercial vehicles declined 23% to 5,110 units from 6,626 units.
