Extended charter deal for Perdana Petroleum


PETALING JAYA: Perdana Petroleum Bhd secured an 18-day extension to the vessel charter contract bagged in August, bringing the total contract value to RM7.3mil.

Its unit, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd (PNSB), entered into a contract addendum with RUHM Marine Sdn Bhd on Oct 10 for the charter of one unit of anchor handling tug and supply vessel.

PNSB provides the vessel for assisting and servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs in Sarawak.

“The contract was for an original period of up to 45 days, commencing from August 30, 2024, with an option to extend for additional 15 days.

RUHM has extended the charter period for a duration of 18 days commencing from Oct 29, 2024 to Nov 15, 2024, with a daily extension option of 15 days, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
