Full integration is key to success, Asean told


KUALA LUMPUR: One key lesson about economic integration that Asean can take away from the European Union is perseverance.

World Bank vice-president for East Asia and Pacific Victoria Kwakwa said Asean members would need to reinforce their commitment towards the common goal in order to achieve real integration which could help the region do well in the current economic environment and in the face of emerging megatrends.
