Critical Holdings unit scores RM772.49mil contract for industrial facility in Kulim


KUALA LUMPUR: Critical Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Critical Engineering Solutions Sdn Bhd has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract with a value of RM772.49mil for the development of a state-of-the-art industrial facility incorporating a high-technology Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse and supporting infrastructure in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.

The group said in Bursa Malaysia filing the client is a renowned US-based multinational corporation that supplies wafer fabrication equipment and services to the semiconductor industry.

The works are expected to commence on June 15, 2026, and are scheduled for completion by Dec 15, 2027.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Group for the financial year ending June 30, 2027 and June 30, 2028. 

To date, the group's order book stands at about RM1.06 billion

Critical Holdings executive director and CEO Tan Si Lim said the achievement will further strengthen its position as a preferred EPCC partner for high-technology and advanced manufacturing projects in Malaysia and the region. 

"The group remains focused on expanding its presence within the semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, logistics automation, data centers and industrial infrastructure sectors while pursuing larger-scale EPCC opportunities that support sustainable long-term growth and shareholder value creation," he added.
