Malaysia benefits from Japan’s yen loan scheme


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has benefited much under the Japan Official Development Assistance yen loan scheme with a number of high-impact projects successfully completed.

Deputy director-general (policy) of Economic Planning Unit Datuk Nik Azman Nik Abdul Majid said at the launch of the 12th ODA evaluation workshop, jointly hosted by Japan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and EPU here, that among the notable projects were the construction of the KL International Airport, the ongoing Pahang-Selangor raw water transfer project and the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology. – Bernama
