CHANGSHA, (China): (Bernama-Xinhua) Four people were killed and two others injured after a fire broke out at an apartment building in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province, on Saturday (Aug 1), local firefighting authorities said on Sunday (Aug 2), reported Xinhua.
The blaze erupted at 3.54am on Saturday. Firefighters rescued six people from the high-rise residential building and sent them to hospital for treatment.
Four of them later died despite medical efforts as of 4pm on Sunday, while the remaining two are still receiving medical treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway. - Bernama-Xinhua
