Brunei emphasises sustainable forest management and environmental protection for its future generation


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Xinhua): Brunei emphasised sustainable forest management for both environmental protection and national development, a senior government official has said.

Brunei is fully committed to preserving its valuable forest resources and ensuring that a significant portion of the land is managed sustainably, said Haji Noralinda Ibrahim, deputy permanent secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, at the Asean working group meeting on forestry management held in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan this week.
