Brunei announce ‘No plastic’ initiatives programme extended to this year's Gerai Ramadan

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei's Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Sports, Big BWN Project and Zero Waste Brunei will be organising an ‘Expansion of the No Plastic Bag Everyday Initiative Campaign (NPBE+) at Gerai Ramadhan Belia, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

Effective 1st Ramadhan 1445, corresponding to Monday (March 11) or Tuesday (March 12) - (subject to the sighting of the new moon of Ramadhan), market stalls at Gerai Ramadhan will not be able to provide plastic carrier bags to visitors.
